Community organisation help to organise Christmas Dinner for community residents to address social isolation and loneliness amongst elderly residents. The event is organised by Socio Economic Regeneration CIC volunteers and local stakeholders.  The event is aimed at supporting 100 local elderly residents who are most isolated and lonely, especially at Christmas. The event is scheduled to take place on 19th December 2017, 11am – 4pm, the venue will be the Ibrahim Maine Centre, 27-29 Maine Road, Moss Side, Manchester, M14 4FS. We were grateful £600 donation from Mosscare St Vincent Housing Association. The event went a long way in encouraging cohesion and a sense of community pride in an area of economic deprivation. We were delighted with the support to make the` Christmas a happy and eventful one for these elderly residents. We will be entertain by a showcase from  Musical Memories Christmas Gala and after there will be pieces created by people from Mosscare St Vincent’s followed by Christmas dinner with all the trimmings, plus music and entertainment.
